Harry Bosch is one of my favourite fictional characters. I know that as soon as I pick up on of Connelly’s books that I will be sucked into a great mystery novel. I also know that I usually won’t find out what really happened until the last 50 pages or so and this one was no different. Harry Bosch is 3 years retired from the police force and has the opportunity to go back to work in the Open-Unsolved Unit (usually called Cold Cases), so he takes it. A case that was never solved 17 years prior is what lands before him and from the beginning I was sucked into the story. I was extremely surprised by the ending but I loved the book nonetheless. A+ job by Connelly again.
